ACTIVITIES
There are plenty of activities to do here at Camp Kerr Lake! You can relax and soak up the sun or even go on a group canoe expedition around the camp shoreline. Below are some of the activities that CKL offers.

Play AREA
In our Recreation Area, a large grassy field provides ample space for families to enjoy a game of softball, kickball, corn toss, box hockey or even disc golf. We also have volleyball and basketball areas. Our play structure with rubber mulch foundation provides a safe, uncluttered environment for active children at play.

swim
The designated swimming area is located near the Picnic Pavilion, but no lifeguards are on duty, so water activities are your own risk. Day-use visitors and campers can use this area, and life jackets are provided upon request. Campers may also enter the lake from their campsites.

canoe
Canoes are available for rent at the welcome center. Each canoe can hold a max of 4 persons. $5 for 2 hours. $15 for all day use. Life jackets must be worn at all times when using the water craft. CKL will provide one or you may use your own.

Kayak
Kayaks are available for rent at the welcome center. Kayaks are a one person water craft. $5 for 2 hours and $15 for all day use. Life jackets must be worn at all times when using the water craft. CKL will provide one or you may use your own.

Paddleboard
Paddleboards are available for rent at the welcome center. Paddleboards are a one person watercraft. $15 for 2 hours. $40 for all day use. Life jackets must be worn at all times when using the water craft. CKL will provide one or you may use your own.

Hike
Want to take in the beautiful scenery? CKL has created two hiking trails where you can take in God's beautiful creations. Each trail is lined with Bible verses. There are benches along the trail where you can take a rest and have some quiet time with the Lord.

Boat ramp
Campers can launch their watercraft at the concrete boat ramp onsite and moor them in protected coves right in front of their individual campsites. Day users can also use the boat ramp for a fee of $5.

Fish
Fish right off the bank near your campsite! We have fishing poles for rent and bait for sale in the camp store.
